Pets: None currently. Past animals have included dogs, fish, and a hedgehog named Rena.

Any impressive telents?: I can grow a sweet beard.
Motivation / Inspiration: My family, especially my parents. Watching them battle through surgeries and cancer these past three years has made me very determined and capable of overcoming anything I encounter or set out to do.

Name: Peter Rotter
Years racing triathlon: ? First one was 2001, next was 2011 and I’ve done two in 2012 and one already in 2013.
Favorite event: Event that I am most glad that I did was the 2013 Israman Iron distance triathlon. I most enjoy my hometown Wausau long course tri.
2013 planned races: Israman Iron Distance triathlon (check); Journeys marathon, Eagle River; Walk for the cure walk from Rhinelander to Wausau; High cliff ½ Ironman; Wausau long course tri, Wausau Marathon.
Pets: None right now but have had great danes and other dogs

Favorite post-race food: I’ll eat pretty much anything anytime but I do like sweets, especially chocolate chip cookies after a race.

Motivation / Inspiration:  My motivation is twofold: I have a deep desire to get the best out of myself and to see how far I can push my body and mind. But I also live every day wanting to show my daughter, Scout, that you never quit and you live life with passion.
